Legal Entity

The Association was incorporated as a non-profit corporation according to English Law under the United Kingdom’s Company Act on April 16th, 1974. Incorporation confers many desirable advantages upon the Association including the right to own property, to act as a legal entity for the purpose of enforcing and defending its rights and assets and defining and regulating the conduct of its affairs. In other words, the Association has, under English law, the same rights and liabilities as any other registered company.
